Julia Stroud Obituary

Mother and grandmother Julia Rose Stroud passed away March 24, 2023. She was 89 years old.

She was born in Pottsville, Ark. in 1933. She married Fred Stroud in 1949 and they were long-time residents of Linnel Camp and Farmersville. She was a homemaker and the best baby sitter for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, cooking, and just taking care of everyone.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Stroud; son and daughter-in-law Forrest and Gail Stroud; son-in-law Don Rader; and 7 great grandchildren (her little angels). She is survived by two daughters, Judy Goodman and Linda Rader; six grandchildren, Brian (Shelly) Stroud, Becky (Danny) Estep, Breann (Brett) Tankersley, Jamie Goodman, Jason (Tanya) Rader, Brandon (Aubrey) Rader; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was full of love and will be dearly missed.

The viewing for Mrs. Stroud will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. at Smith Family Chapel in Exeter. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 6, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the Exeter District Cemetery in Exeter. Arrangements by Smith Family Chapel.
