Lupe Arellano Obituary
Maria Guadalupe, was born on October 17, 1956 to Robert and Zenaida Arellano. She married in December 5, 1971 to Cosme Guzman Rico.
She is survived by her one son, David Cosme Rico,four daughters, Rosie Garcia, Marissa Mendez, Erika Lu Rico, and Reyna Arellano, all reside in Porterville and Lindsay, Ca. Lupe has 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Lupe lived a life of service in the surrounding community. She began a 10-year career as a Bilingual Educator at Strathmore Elementary. Years later, she returned to Strathmore as a volunteer, offering Adult English and Citizenship classes, lasting for five years. In the last 20 years, Lupe owned her Tax Preparation business and enjoyed actively serving as a Womens Leader at her local church, Centro De Adoracion, in Poplar, Ca. Lupe had many accomplishments. She loved her family, her work, and encouraging others in Faith.

There will be a celebration of life at Centro De Adoracion, 14815 Rd. 192, Poplar, California on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Centro De Adoracion on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Woodville Cemetery.
