Roberta Ann Stutler Harrel Pitts Hegner passed away at dawn of Oct. 13, 2024 at her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She was born in Moundsville, West Virginia on Dec. 2, 1962, the daughter of Rebecca and Robert Rae Stutler. The family eventually settled in Hopewell, where she attended Rose Bud School and earned an associate's degree from the University of Arkansas.
Life and marriage with Dave Harrel settled her in Owasso where she raised two sons and became a skilled seamstress of custom clothing.
She moved to Tulsa where she remarried Scott Pitts and worked for interior designers doing labor intensive work on bedroom decor and custom drapes and window treatments. Moving back to Arkansas after Scott's passing she was then called to Florida to care for an ailing Aunt Martha.
She met Ronald Hegner there who has been her love and best friend who worked so well together on many projects. Moving back to Arkansas, she worked at F.L. Davis in the design department. For many friends and family who were embraced by her warmth and expertise, for others who loved her delight and considerateness she will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her Husband Ron Hegner, Mother Rebecca Loftis, son Joseph Harrel (Monica), niece Kendall Stutler, sister Crystal and family. Her ashes will be spread at her request by family at a future destination.
