Richard Hegner Obituary
Richard had a warm smile, was very generous, and had a great sense of humor. He loved to play guitar, and compose his own songs. He was also a foodie, who enjoyed talking about food as much as cooking it. Richard was an avid golfer, especially fond of spending time on the course with his brother Rob and nephew Adam. He was also a fan of both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. "Ricker" will surely be missed.
Richard is the son of the late Richard Joseph Hegner and father of the late Kerri Hegner.
Richard is survived by his mother, Ann (Dargay) Hegner; his son Richard James "RJ" Hegner; his three siblings, Sharon Storcella (David), Robert Hegner (Kimberly), and Karen Storcella; nieces and nephews, Emily Slusser (Cody), Kaitlyn Hegner, Anthony Storcella, Adam Brickner (Jessica); as well as other family members and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Catholic prayer services will be held at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation was held privately.

Richard was a person of character.....I had the privilege of knowing him when he worked at Coca Cola Foods....

So sorry to hear about the passing of Rich. We lived one block away and went to grammar school together and often hung out then. I'll always remember him for his quick, warm smile, wry sense of humor, sense of playfulness, and just feeling good in his presence--which is also true of his mother. My condolences to all of the Hegners.
