Robert Carney Obituary

Robert "Bob" J. Carney, 49, of Hamilton, passed away, with his loving wife, Adreinne, by his side, on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Serenity Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton.

Born in Hamilton, Bob was a lifelong Hamilton Township resident. He graduated from Hamilton High School West and Vocational School where perfected his skills in construction. He went on to work with his uncle in his construction company before going to work with the State of New Jersey at the Capital Post Office in Ewing. He earned the position of supervisor of mails and worked with the state for over 25 years.

Bob was passionate about cars and motorcycles. He loved his Harley, Hot-Rods, and attending the Cruising Ocean City event every May. His true labor of love was building a 1969 sapphire blue Chevelle~ His pride and joy! Bob also loved salt water fishing with friends in the Shark River Inlet.

Always outgoing, Bob made friends and knew people every where he went. He will be fondly remembered for his kind and friendly way.

Predeceased by his parents, Robert Michael and Kathleen Ann (Adamec) Carney; he is survived by his wife, Adrienne N. Winner-Carney; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol and Mark Rairie; his loving Carney, Adamec, and Rairie extended family; many dear friends, and his beloved dog, Scotty.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Interment will follow at St. John's Church Cemetery. Allentown, NJ

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's memory to The Animal Orphanage of New Jersey by visiting AONJ.org.
