Ellen Phalen Obituary
CORDOVA - Ellen Connors Phalen, of Cordova, S.C., passed away on August 10, 2025. She was the wife of Roy O. Phalen.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 18, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with Father John de Britto officiating. The burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., same day as the service, at the church, with a Rosary service following at 10:30 a.m.
Ellen was born in Waterford City, Ireland, a daughter of the late Timothy Connors and Ellen Lynagh Connors. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and volunteered for the Cooperative Church Ministries of Orangeburg. Ellen loved gardening and baking.
In addition to her husband; Ellen is survived by her daughter, Ann H. Stucke (Gregg); son, Tim Hancock (Dianne); and grandchildren, Brianna, Mackinley, and Ian Hancock; and number of nieces; and nephews in Waterford City, Ireland and London, U.K.
