Frederick Hobson "Rick" Taylor, Jr.
DORCHESTER -- Frederick Hobson "Rick" Taylor, Jr., 54, of Dorchester, husband of Norma Dee Bigalow Taylor, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at his residence.
A Memorial Service with Masonic Rites will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until time of service.
Rick was born on August 8, 1969, in Camden, SC, a son of Patricia Anne Hough and the late Frederick Hobson Taylor, Sr. He attended Summerville High School and was a retired spillway mechanic with Santee Cooper. He was a member of Mt. Hope Masonic Lodge 128 A.F.M. He was predeceased by father, stepfather, Jim Crangle and son, Paul Infinger.
Surviving is his wife, Norma Dee Taylor; his mother, Paticia Ann Hough, both of Dorchester; sons, Dominick (Jenn) Zanti, Kissimmee, FL, Steven (Claire) Zanti, Eutawville and Thomas (Toni) Mack, Summerville; daughters, Christy Infinger, and Kasie (Travis) Chubb, all of Harleyville; brothers, Randy (LeAnn) Crangle and William Allen; and thirteen grandchildren, Zander, Ariana, Isabelle, Skyler, Joey, Aiden, Autumn, Kalee, Tanner, Sadie, Lily, Lauren and Camron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, PO Box 947765, Atlanta, Georgia 30394.
