Aaron Evans Obituary
Godfrey - Aaron R. Evans, age 51, of Godfrey, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton, Illinois.
He was born August 23, 1973 to Dale and Brenda (Reid) Evans in Alton, Illinois.
Aaron worked in automobile sales. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and was a member of the Godfrey First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents; son, Jackson Evans; Tara Young, his son's mother; sister, Amy (Patrick) Straky; niece, Arianna Straky; and nephew, Aiden Straky; aunt, Sara Burkey; cousins, Jake, Kyle and Michael Goss.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Charolette Cooper.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jim Easton officiating at Crain Pleasant Grove - Murdale Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow the funeral service at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Godfrey First Methodist Church in Godfrey, Illinois.
Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
