Dennis Robert Rose
Astoria - Dennis Robert Rose, 70, passed away on May 26, 2025, in Astoria, OR.
Born on October 7, 1954, Dennis pursued his education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and then went on to earn his CPA license in 1982. His professional life was marked by dedication and leadership. He started his career in public accounting and in 1991, established Rose * Barnard & Company. In 1998, he created and operated Dennis Rose & Associates, P.C. in Alton, Illinois until his retirement in 2024. Throughout his career, Dennis served clients with integrity and professionalism, becoming friends with many.
Dennis was the son of the late John Aloysius Rose and Mary Elizabeth (Sagez) Rose. He is remembered by his brothers, John, Edward (Sheryl), and Thomas Rose. He also leaves behind nephews, Nathan (Elizabeth) Rose, Neil (Erica) Rose, and Nicholas (Amy) Rose, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. He will also be missed by his close friends, Craig and Ann Nilsson, and his dedicated staff.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Dennis's life.
