DORIS MARSHALL

EAST ALTON - Doris Maybeth Marshall, 84, passed away at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at V.I.P Manor Wood River.

Born Sept. 8, 1929, in Green County, Ark. the daughter of Winfred Levi and Mary Elizabeth (Nutt) Cook.

She married Calvin Coolage Marshall on Nov. 16, 1946, in Sedgwick, Ark. He died October 6, 1999.

Doris was a homemaker and a member of First Family Church of East Alton.

Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Ellain and Charles Blasingim of East Alton; son, Ricky and Cathy Marshall of East Alton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and expecting another in January; sisters, Elsielene A. Freeman of Belleville, and Marylee Everhart of Key West, Fla.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Glenn, Rayford, Tommy Wayne, John Robert Cook.

Visitation: 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at Gray Funeral Home in Wood River, with Pastor Randy Vollmar officiating. Burial: Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.

Memorials may be made to that of ones choice.
