George Frost Obituary
Alton, IL - George C. Frost, 75, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Alton Memorial Rehabilitation and Nursing Care.
George was born on September 29, 1947 in Arkansas, the son of Otto and Eula Frost.
George worked as a Highway Laborer and was a member of the Laborer's Local #338. He had joined several bowling leagues and enjoyed golfing. George had also worked at Owens-Illinois Glass works and the Alton Park District. He tended bar at the American Legion for some time.
George is survived his significant other, Diana Sanchez; and a nephew, Jim Frost; and many other friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jody Obley; and three brothers, Elbert Frost, Bob Frost, Tom Frost.
Visitation will be held Wednesday August 30, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
A graveside service will immediately follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.

George was like a brother to me and my family. He called my mom and dad, his other parents. The gang is getting bigger and bigger in Heaven, God has his hands full. Miss you brother, Shelia (Eakes) and Don Sevier and all of our family.

George was a kind man. I have known him since I was little. He was one of my dads (Melvin Tague) drinking buddies back in the days at Tugs. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
