HUNTER BECK
PIGEON FORGE, TENNESSEE — Hunter Todd Beck, 29, from Godfrey, resident of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, passed away Nov. 14, 2017.
Hunter was a 2006 Alton High graduate, where he played football. He was an avid power weight lifter, holding multiple world records. He proudly wore #52 under Coach Bobby Bowden, fulfilling a dream to play for the Seminoles while attending Florida State University. Hunter gave his life to the Lord in 2015 and joined Life Changers international Ministry. He never met a stranger, often praying with anyone anywhere at any time. The most important thing in Hunter's life was spending time and connecting with his family, friends and the Lord. The wise, courageous, giving, strong, playful, fearless son of Brad and Jennifer Beck loved his life and all those blessed to meet him.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers: Robert Smith, George Kenneth Gilleland, and Special Cousin U.S. Marine Corporal Christopher Belchik.
Survived by his parents, Brad and Jennifer Beck of Paia, Hawaii; fiance' Bonnie Solomon of Pigeon Forge; grandparents: Sharon and Don Liley of Godfrey, Emory and Jeanne Beck of Godfrey, Judy Gilleland, Sevierville, Tennessee, aunts, uncles,: Lynn Lenker (Jim) of Alton, Matthew Smith (Sandra) of Godfrey, Michelle Otis (Mike) of Alton, Scott Liley (Candy) of Brighton, Cristie Scott (Greg) of Bowling Brook, Mark Beck (Pam) of Brighton, Candace Gilleland Owens, of Pigeon Forge, Grant Gilleland-Beck (Pam) of Monticello, Florida, and Brian Belchik (Jennifer) of Godfrey.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, with celebration of life service at 1 p.m. at Enjoy Church in Alton. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Alton Wood River Sportsmen's Club Trap House in Godfrey.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hunter Beck "John 3.16" Memorial Fund at Liberty Bank.

Dear Brad and Jen,
So very very sorry to hear about Hunter. I think of him always as a little boy at tha English Mountain trout farm. That beautiful little boy is now in Heaven.

So, so sorry to hear about Hunters' passing - but SO encouraged to know that he gave his life to Christ and that now he walks with Him for eternity! Jake really looked up to Hunter when they played football together in high school and was really shocked to hear the news of his passing. Praying you guys find some peace during this time of loss!
