KEVIN J. STOECKEL

SOUTH ROXANA — Kevin J. Stoeckel, 50, passed away at 5:46 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017, at his residence. He was born on July 21, 1966, in Alton, Illinois, the son of Loren Stoeckel of South Roxana and the late Janet Kamp. Survivors include his father and step – mother: Loren and Carolyn Stoeckel of South Roxana, two sons: Nick Stoeckel of East Alton, Nathan Stoeckel of East Alton, two grandchildren: Karson and Drayke Stoeckel of East Alton, a brother and sister-in-law: Todd and Elizabeth Stoeckel of South Roxana, a sister and brother-in-law: Tami and Eric Linder of Jerseyville, two nephews: Jeremy Stoeckel, Joshua Stoeckel, two nieces: Jade Travers and her husband Chase, Jensen Linder, and a special aunt: Diane Vore of Gallipolis, Ohio.

Kevin loved fishing, riding his motorcycle, and playing pool.

In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of memorial services at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Dan Smith will officiate.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
