LISA PULLIAM

GRANITE CITY — Lisa Jean Pulliam, 47, of Granite City passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City surrounded by her family.

Lisa was born on September 7, 1969 in Bellville, Illinois. She was a secretary at Valuquest Realty in Edwardsville. In her free time, Lisa was an active member of Gracepoint Church in Granite City where she was a member of the choir and a Sunday School Teacher. Lisa was known as a perfectionist who was very organized and had beautiful penmanship. She was a talented seamstress who made her own wedding dress as well as her bridesmaids. Lisa loved the Lord and her family and will be remembered for the special love she had for her family and friends.

She is survived by and will be missed by her husband; Mark Pulliam, whom she married on June 15, 1991; her children, Courtney Pulliam of Granite City, Andrew Pulliam of Granite City, Evan Pulliam of Granite City; her mom, Velda (Fritchley) Lawhorn of Troy, Illinois; her granddaughter, Lillian Pulliam of Granite City; her sisters, Joanne (Joe) Plasters of Troy, Illinos, Brenda Lawhorn of Alexandria, Los Angeles; her brother, Joseph (Marti) Lawhorn of St. Jacob, Illinois and many nieces, nephews and many other close family members and friends.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 16, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gracepoint Church, 2450 Pontoon Road in Granite City. In celebration of her life, services will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Gracepoint Church with Pastor T.L. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorials are suggested to the family of Lisa. Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City is serving the family.
