Dr. Sara L. Croney

Dr. Powell came to Principia when I was there as a Secondary Education major. Her joy and enthusiasm for teaching and learning were infectious, inspiring and a catalyst for many of us who went on to a lifelong career in the education field. After 11 years of teaching I became a Superintendent for the next 25 and retire in two months. I am deeply sorry for any sense of loss you may feel. Please know she made a huge impact on many lives. Thank you to the family of Margy for sharing her with us.

Margaret was a patient, loving, kind teacher of an education class at Principia College, where she questioned, invigorated and inspired. I remember her as a fun and wonderful lady who was willing to "walk the extra mile". I am so glad to have known her. xx

Margaret was an inspiration to me in her dedication to her church & community. She radiated Love & Light. I will miss her.
