I was saddened to read about the passing of “coach” McGarvey. He was my football coach at Jerseyville high school. He taught me a lot during that time and I will always be indebted to him. May God bless him and keep him.

I knew Paul as my football coach in Jerseyville, IL. He was quite disappointed with my personal life, and rightfully so. But thanks to his powerful Christian witness, and many like him afterward, I became a disciple of Jesus Christ. We will meet again in eternity to worship the Lord. Thanks, Coach.
