I haven't seen Phil in years. I thought of him and just found out a week ago. We used to get together back in the mid 1980's in Chicago. He used to tell me about Alton ,Illinois where he grew up. I will always remember his stories. My deepest condolences to his family in the Alton, Illinois area. Rest In Peace.

I have known Phil for over 20 years in my building. He was always friendly, kind, quirky, hospitable, and loving. He was a great friend. He was my best friend in this 20 story building, but he was all you needed. He was always there for me and I for him. I had not seen him in a month but that was not that unusual as our paths rarely crossed. But I always knew when I needed a friend he was there for me. He had come a long way and was so proud of his job at the nursing home and his volunteer work with alcoholics in recovery. I will miss him deeply.
