Ronald Albert Stieve
Baraboo - Ronald Albert "Ron" Stieve, age 92, of Baraboo passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Ronald, son of Fred and Anna (Kapelka) Stieve was born April 20, 1933. Ron proudly served his country in the US Army from August 25, 1953 until his honorable discharge on June 16, 1955. He married Beldona Mueller on December 4, 1954 and together they had three children, Ronald, Kim, and Todd. He later married Dardenelle "Dardy" Mady and welcomed her children, Tracy and Scott, to the family. She preceded him in death on February 9, 2007.
In his free time, he enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Family will remember many years of deer hunting with Ron over the years and would look forward to their annual hunts.
He was a long-time member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo.
Survivors include his children, Ronald Stieve, Kim (partner, Jeff) Fillion, Todd (Melissa) Stieve, Tracy Erdmann and Scott (Missy) Schonsky; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Dardy and his grandson, Joshua Stieve.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Kuske officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Inurnment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery where military honors will be conducted. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
