MADISON - Sylvester 'Danny Boy" Walker Jr., 59, departed this life on Sunday July 17, 2016.

Born on March 9, 1957, in Madison, Illinois to parents Janie Lowe and Sylvester R. Walker Sr. He is preceded in death by both parents; his wife Alma Walker and one step daughter, Evangelus Brown.

Mr. Walker leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Jenna Forrest of Alton, Illinois; his step daughter, Bianca (Adams) Simien of Houston, Texas; three step sons, Edward (Daria) Brown of Madison, Illinois, David Brown of Madison, Illinois and Derrick (Ruthie) Brown of Fairview Heights, Illinois; one brother-in-law, Arthur Brown of Granite City, Illinois; and a niece-in-law, Wanda Brown of Venice, Illinois; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.Saturday July 23, 2016 at Cathy M.. Williams & Sons Funeral Home in Alton. Bishop John Henry Williams, Eulogist. Burial: Sunset Gardens of Memory Millstadt, Illinois.
