William "Billy" Robert McCauley, Jr.
Alton - William "Billy" Robert McCauley, Jr., 44, passed away March 1, 2025 at his home.
Born March 19, 1980 in Alton, he was the son of William Robert, Sr. and Annette (Goodnight) McCauley of Fosterburg.
On October 13, 2023 in Edwardsville, he married Dacia Grosenbacher. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife are a son, Clayton (Olivia) McCauley of Havelock, NC; daughter, Marley McCauley of Godfrey; step-sons, Dayson Strong of Cottage Hills, Ralph Alvarez, IV of Cottage Grove, MN; step-grandchild, Ivy Strong; brother, David (Nikki) McCauley of St. Peters, MO; and sister, Melissa (Jonathan) Calame of East Alton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 6, at Marks Mortuary in Wood River where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday. Pastor Bob Harris will officiate.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
