Alice Howells Obituary
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Tudor and Deborah Charters Howells, she graduated from Scranton Technical High School and worked for United Gilsonite Laboratories until her retirement.
Surviving are a sister, Eva Foss, Scranton; two nephews, Richard Foss, Lake Winola; and Thomas Foss, Richmond, Va.; a great-nephew, Thomas Foss, Richmond; two great-nieces, Kelly, Oakland, Calif.; and Kathy, Richmond; and a great-great-niece Lily, Richmond.
The family would like to thank the staff of Compassus Hospice for its care and compassion during these past months.
As per her request, private services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are under the care of the Bomberger-Lesko Funeral Home Inc., 1660 N. Main Ave., Scranton.
