Ann Corrine Shuta, 58, Dunmore, died Wednesday at Linwood Nursing and Rehab in Scranton.
Born in Dunmore, daughter of Paul and Rita Doyle, Dunmore, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School. Ann enjoyed shopping so working in the cosmetics department at Kaufmann's was a perfect fit for her. She had also been employed at Specialty Records and the Advocacy Alliance, where she was very proud to assist on their crisis line. She was known as a kind person who was always willing to help others, and will be missed by those who love her.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Linwood Nursing and Rehab, Geisinger Cancer Center and Allied Services Hospice, and a special thank you to Dr. Linda Arcurie for all the care and compassion shown towards Ann.
Also surviving are her son, Ryan Shuta and girlfriend, Sam McGraw, Olyphant; her sisters, Helene Dale and husband, Tony, Schuylkill Haven; and Geraldine Amaya and boyfriend, Thomas DeLorenzo, Dunmore; brothers, John Doyle and wife, Janette, Scranton; and Paul Doyle and wife, Karen, Throop; her significant other, Julian Long, Dunmore; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
