Ann Smargiassi Obituary
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Stanley and Victoria Kluk Paczkowski, she was a member of the Church of St. Gregory, Clarks Green. She was a 1967 graduate of Dickson City High School and was a self-employed hairstylist.
Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, and she never missed a sporting event in which they participated. Everyone knew "Annie" at the sporting events. She was a loving, compassionate woman and an extremely kind hearted person. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
One of Annie's other favorite pastimes, before her illness, was long walks through all seasons with her dog, Lady, and her daughter's dog, Zeus.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kera Mizok and husband, Robert, Scott Twp.; and Jodi Winters and husband, Jeff, Olyphant; a son, Jared Smargiassi and companion, Laura Suarez; grandchildren, Cody Smargiassi and Shayne Mizok; a sister, Aurelia Smargiassi and husband, Americus, Eynon; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Gregory. Family and friends are requested to go directly to the church Tuesday morning. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Scott Twp.
Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City.
Donations may be made to the Humane Society.

Annie faithfully dropped off and picked up Cody from CCD Classes at ST. Mary's Church in Jessup as MS. Shelly Daley was his CCD Teacher.
