Beverly Scoblick Obituary

Beverly J. Scoblick, 84, of Peckville, passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, on Friday, March 15, 2024, surrounded by family. She was the wife of Robert Scoblick. The couple would have celebrated 66 years of marriage in May.

Beverly was born and raised in Jermyn. She was the only child of William and Evelyn Lutey Roberts. She was a 1957 graduate of Jermyn High School and worked in retail all her life.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Bohenek (Tom), Olyphant; and Shelly Vislosky (Gary), Peckville. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Chris Bohenek (fiancée, Alyssa), Jason Bohenek (Lauren), Justin Vislosky (Megan) and Jenna Gresko (James).

Beverly was blessed to have enjoyed time with her five great-grandsons: Dylan and Gavin Bohenek, Lucas and Liam Vislosky, and James Gresko, whom she adored.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, for their unwavering kindness and compassion.

The funeral Mass will be Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville. Family and friends may call Wednesday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church prior to Mass beginning. Interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Archbald.
