Blanch Lea Van Sickle Gregorski, 97½, of Lake Ariel, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening. Her husband of 62½ years, Albert Gregorski, died in 2008.
Born in Lake Ariel, she was the daughter of the late William and Jennie Chapman-Van Sickle. She was a graduate of Lake Consolidated School, Mansfield State College and Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Canaan Bible Chapel, South Canaan.
Blanch loved the Lord. She also loved her children and husband whom she lovingly cared for, cooked them delicious meals (especially her famous spaghetti sauce and meatballs), and selflessly provided for them whenever there was a need.
Surviving are daughters, Susan Chapman and her husband, Doug, of Lake Ariel; Kathy Yedinak and her husband, Bob, of Hamlin; Mary Owens and her husband, Duane, of Richmond, Va.; and Diane Van Leuven, of Lake Ariel; sons, Chick Gregorski and his wife, Pat, of Moscow; Albert Gregorski, of Moscow; John Gregorski and his wife, Ann, of Hamlin; and Robert Gregorski and his wife, Tina, of Lake Ariel; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Gregorski, of Lake Ariel; brother, Allen Van Sickle, of Kissimmee, Fla.; grandchildren, Peter, Steven, Michael, Paul, Natasha, Crystal, Douglas, Sam, April, Richard, Robert, Steven, Jonathan, Alexis and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Katie, Raymond, Karmella, Olivia, Donavan, Troy, Calista, Kara, Paige, James, William, Cooper, Jackson, Isabella, Marshall and Nash; great-great-grandsons, Bryce and Owen; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Gregorski; brothers, Edward, Albert and William Van Sickle; daughter-in-law, Anna Gregorski; sons-in-law, Gordon Hettes and Brian Van Lueven.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel. Friends may call from noon until the time of service.
Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
