Carl Jr and all other family , I had the opportunity to work with Carl in the early 70's, when Manassas was starting up as an FSD location. Carl was a strong leader and was very influential in the success of the Manassas business. He was a guiding influence to so many of us , in ways he never realized . We all have fond memories of him.

One could always depend on Napper to say the right thing ... be it technically or in the form of encouragement. He was a positive and always welcome influence in my career. So many great memories. Our thoughts are with the family.

At this great time of sorrow, may you find comfort from God and from loving memories of your dear father. (John 5:25-29)

It was my privilege to work for and with Napper over a total of 18 years while at IBM and as a consultant. He was the greatest influence on my professional career. He expected and demanded much but was patient and constructive in his criticism. He is with the Lord now/Bob Skelding
