Constance V. Sadauskas Warner

Constance Warner Obituary

Constance V. "Connie" Sadauskas Warner, Scranton, died Friday afternoon at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit. Her first husband, Walter Krypal, died May 3, 1963. Her second husband, Louis J. Warner Jr., died March 25, 2004.

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late John and Domicella Drazdowskas Sadauskas, she was educated in the Scranton School District and was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. Before retirement, she was employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry. She was a former member of St. Michael's Lithuanian Church, West Scranton. She was a lifelong member of the ILGWU of America.

She was a strong-willed, resilient lady who loved her family, and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and loved her sweets. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She celebrated her 90th birthday on July 22.

Her family would like to thank all the staff of Abington Manor and the VNA Hospice for their wonderful care of Connie.

Surviving are a son, Walter and wife, Nancy Goff Krypal, Pahrump, Nev.; a daughter, Deborah Jones and husband, Robert, Scranton; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Constance Krypal and Patricia Shukis; four sisters, Louise, Sophia, Marcella and Julia; and a brother, John.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Carl J. Savino Funeral Home, 157 S. Main Ave., with services by the Rev. Earl Cassel, pastor, United Baptist Church, West Scranton. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday, 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Abington Manor Activities Department, 100 Edella Road, Clarks Summit, PA 18411-1628.

Dear Debbie and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
Your mom always had a smile on her face and love to make people laugh, that is what i like about her.She was a strong woman and never let the little things bother her. That is what i will remember about her. I believe she is smiling in heaven right now and hopes that we will all smile with her.
