David Fotia, 61, of Pocono Lake, died Wednesday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
Born in Raritan, N.J., son of the late Rudolph and Grace DeFazio Fotia, he attended Raritan public schools and graduated from South Plainfield public High School. He was employed by Sparacino Movers. David enjoyed bonfires, fireworks and hanging out at the local VFW.
Surviving are his daughter, Victoria Fotia; significant other, Renee Coppola; brothers, Henry Olszyk and Randy Fotia; niece, Becky Olszyk; nephew, Hank Olszyk; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann St., Scranton. Friends may call from 3 to 5:45 p.m.
