Deborah Anne Ehnot, 68, of Dunmore, passed away Sunday morning at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Surviving is her husband, Charles J. Ehnot. The couple had been married for 46 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Klenotich Halpin and was a 1973 graduate of Dunmore High School.
Deborah was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching various TV shows with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will sadly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Also surviving are sons, Charles Jr., Dunmore; Jerry and wife, Angela, Peckville; and Marc and wife, Jackie, Harrisburg; a daughter, Leigh Anne Sorrells and husband, Matt, North Carolina; grandchildren, Charles III, Leo, Owen, Max, Henry and Sadie Ehnot, and Lillianne and Jackson Sorrells; a brother, Thomas Halpin and wife, Denise, Scranton; a sister-in-law, Karen Donato and husband, Bruce, Gaithersburg, Md.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved dog, Baxter Ehnot.
She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Leonard Pietrolaj.
A service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore.
Family and friends may pay their respects from noon until the time of the service. Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
