Donna M. Lorah Dutter, 73, Park Towers, Nanticoke, formerly of Carbondale, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at home.
Born in Philadelphia March 22, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and June Painter Lorah.
During her working career, Donna was employed by RCA, Mountain Top, The Times Leader and Citizens' Voice, and finally, was a longtime manager of the McDonald's restaurant, Scranton. She was a member of Christ Community Church, Kingston, and loved her Friday night bingo at Park Towers, which she ran. She was very funny, kind, happy and very independent. Donna enjoyed life and loved her family, and will be missed immensely.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Floyd Dutter, who passed away Nov. 8, 2005; and brothers, Daniel and James Lorah.
Surviving is her loving son, Mark A. Dutter and his partner, Kirsten; a new grandson, Tristan A. Dutter; stepchildren, Joe, Christine, Floyd, Patricia and John; siblings, Margie, Marvin, Terry, Fred, April, Judy and Debbie; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Services will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. John Butch, her pastor, officiating. Friends may call for viewing and visitation from 3 p.m. until the time services begin.
Interment will be held privately at a later date in the Historic Old White Church Cemetery, Ringtown, Pa.
