Gail Dymond Obituary

Gail O'Neill Dymond of Penn Lake departed from this earth Saturday, May 20, 2017.

Born in Ashley on Sept. 19, 1940, to Margaret Oakes and Raymond McIntyre, she graduated from St. Leo's High School, Ashley, and received her LPN license from New York University.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George P. O'Neill, in 1988; and by her second husband, Arthur C. Dymond, in 2002; her son, George R. O'Neill; grandson, Jared J. Fox; brothers, the Rev. Raymond, Francis, Edmund, Robert and Thomas McIntyre; sisters, Mary and Margie McIntyre and Eileen Beddal.

She is survived by sons, Gerald O'Neill and family, California; Mark O'Neill and family, Harrisburg; Christopher O'Neill and family, Penn Lake; and daughters, Lisa O'Neill, Penn Lake; and Amy Anstett and family, White Haven Poconos; and grandson, Philip O'Neill, Philadelphia. Also surviving are stepson, Arthur J. Dymond and family, Maryland; stepdaughter, Pamela Dymond-Weed and family, Washington; her remaining sister, Sister Raymond Mary, Cathedral Convent, Scranton; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no viewing. Anyone wishing to give condolences to the family may go one hour early at the church. Mass will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017, at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 411 Allegheny St., White Haven, PA 18661.

In lieu of flowers, Gail would like you to contribute to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.

I am so very sorry your loss. Aunt Gail was a beautiful presence growing up in NEPA and her love for Family and friends knew no bounds.

Dearest O'Neill and Dymond Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was such a beautiful woman and a dear friend to my mom and dad. I will forever cherish the memories of fun and laughter at Penn Lake. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
