Gary Hartranft Obituary
Gary E. Hartranft, 63, of Lake Ariel, died Thursday. His wife of 21 years is Patricia Hartranft.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Earl and Glenda Hartranft. He was employed as a transportation equipment operator for PennDOT.
Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his Harley and was a former member of the Hamlin Hawgs. Gary had a special love for his dogs, especially Peanut.
Also surviving are his brother, Allan; his children, Kevin, Matthew, Manda and Richard; and his seven grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the care and direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
