My heart is in deep sorrow for the man I loved as a second Father to me some years back! Being a displaced Texan coming back to Pennsylvania after my divorce (circa 2000). I met 'Glenny' through a business associate of mine visiting his welding shop up on the Underwood. I knew the Gentleman as a warm, positive thought provoking individual with timely, insightful advice in living life to its fullest degree, countering downside woes therein! A true Friend who will be sorely missed, I remember intently his many memories of working in the local Coal Mines way back in the past; as a matter of fact, I still have that Piece of Memory chunk (residing in, as I moved back to Texas) he gave to me as token of appreciation in assisting him in his many endeavors at his shop; I be known as the Anthracite Man of Texas!! In closing, Glen was the type of Friend you wish you had many of beside you in the best of times, the worst of times and he will never be forgotten in my mind & heart forever!!! May God Bless the rest of his immediate family ... SMK

Tribute offered from the 'Texas Tornado' to one great man, Glenn, who was both a mentor & personal savior in my life! He was there with amazing advice on living a clean life into the future at a time when I needed to turn my life around in in moving back to Pennsylvania some years ago. Without Glenn's guidance, I would have never recovered from my personal demons and/or setbacks to rebuild my life and move back to Texas with success in career, but more in my recovered soul! Glenn had similar impacts on others with his wise thought & true love for his fellow man...he will be sorely missed, from my perspective. I know he has passed into the loving hands of God and will live in peace everlasting. I truly loved the man as a Father!

Dear Clausson family,
I was very saddened on hearing of the passing of Glenn. I am so sorry for your loss. I met your brother, dad, grandpa in the summer of 2008. I would ride my bike by his shop and see him and give him a wave. Then one day I decided to stop and say hello, and from then on when I rode my bike that way I would stop and see Glenn every time he was there for a little 5 minute chat. So for 14 years I was privileged to know your brother, dad, and grandpa. He was quite a character and I enjoyed very much chatting with him. He would talk about many different things over the course of our friendship, and I was amazed at the longevity of some of his siblings and Glenn himself. I did think Glenn would reach that milestone of 100 years, but he did have a wonderful run at life. He was just a nice man. So sorry for your loss. May your memories of Glenn bring you comfort and peace. May he rest in peace
I will miss him, and when I ride my bike that way I will offer up a thought and a prayer in honor of your brother, dad, and grandpa.
