Howard C. "Chuck" Harvey Jr., 72, of Dickson City, where he lived most of his life, died Sunday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. His wife is the former Mary Rose Napolitan and they had been married for 47 years.
Born in Endicott, N.Y., son of the late Howard Sr. and Rosemary Cooney Harvey, he was a graduate of Dickson City High School and diesel mechanic school.
He worked at Sugarman's and MetLife, Clarks Summit, in the loss prevention department, and also at Kryer Security. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and during his time in the service he was a dog handler and paramedic.
Also surviving are two daughters, Marisa and fiancé, Jerry; and Lisa and companion, Jon; brother, Gene Harvey; several grandchildren; a great-grandson; two brothers-in-law, Eddie Napolitan and wife, Joanie and James Napolitan; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
