James Savero Obituary
A memorial service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton. Friends and family may pay their respects Monday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jimmy's name to Friends With Paws, 1443 Sanderson Ave., Scranton, PA 18508.

Although I did not know Jimmy very well, playing baseball with him for several summers, I knew him to be a kind and stand up guy. So sorry to hear of his passing. His was certainly a life well lived. To his family and friends, know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless!

My condolences to Johnathan and family. Jimmy was a good kid, we had some great times back in the East mountain days, up paradise, cave, #5 dam, stampys, footbridge, mt. Lake, the church, goat lady's, 1905, and so many more. I would see Jimmy here and there throughout the years to say what's up but had the greater opportunity to befriend his younger brother Johnathan and keep an eye on him through skateboarding at sessionz and underwood. It was because of lil Jimmy back in those days I kept a closer eye on John and think of him as family, John is a great kid and I will always be a phone call away bud. To all of Jimmy's family and friends, I am sorry for your loss and as I told John the other day if you need anything please reach out. R.I.P Jimmy
