Jean L. Bellucci

Jean L. Bellucci, 82, of Elmhurst, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at St. Mary's Villa Nursing Home.

Born in the Tripp Park section of Scranton, March 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Inez (Palazzari) Bellucci. After graduating from Scranton Central High School, her family moved to Elmhurst, where Jean spent the remainder of her life. She earned her bachelor's degree in education at Cedar Crest College and went on to have a positive influence on the lives of many young students as an elementary education teacher in the North Pocono School District. After retirement, Jean continued to educate young minds while becoming a CCD teacher in her parish, St. Eulalia's.

Jean was a loving, giving and selfless person whose main focus in life was her family. When she wasn't spending time with her family, you could often find her playing dominos with the "Moscow ladies."

She is survived by her brother, Louis Bellucci and his wife, Maureen. She loved and was loved by four nieces and nephews and their spouses; 11 great-nieces and nephews and their spouses; and three great-great-nieces and nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 8, at St. Eulalia Parish, 214 Blue Shutters Road, Roaring Brook Twp., PA 18444, by Father David Cramer, pastor. A private interment will be held at Cathedral Cemetery at a future date.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until the time of the service, also at the church.
