John Keiper Obituary
Born in Scranton, son of the late John and Anna R. Diaz Corby, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. Before his illness, he was employed as a mechanic and various other jobs. He was a social member of the American Legion, Taylor, VFW, Old Forge, and the Ukrainian Club.
John was a man with a big heart, always willing to help anyone in need. An avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he enjoyed cooking and loved music and working as a DJ. His children were most important in his life. He absolutely adored them. He was loved, and will be missed by all that knew him.
John's family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Dr. Kishori Veerabhadrappa and the entire staff, for the wonderful care and concern.
Surviving are his three children, Priscilla, Darek and Joey and their mother, Lisa Kaminski, all of Scranton; a sister, Madelyn Fink and her husband, Doug, Clarks Summit; four brothers, Eugene Keiper, Mark Keiper and his wife, Rose, Bruce Corby and his wife, Janice, and Michael Corby, all of Scranton; several nieces and nephews; cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Guido-Fiorillo Funeral Home, 120 S. Main Ave., Scranton. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
Family and friends may pay their respects today from 5 to 8 p.m.
