John C. Kubasko of North Scranton died Friday at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late John and Alice Featherby Kubasko. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, he proudly served in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany and South Korea. Prior to retirement he was employed by My Brothers Place in sales.
Surviving are former wife, Rosemary Kubasko, Scranton; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by infant children, John, Joseph and Loriann; sisters, Joan Granville and Faye Spear; infant brother, Frank.
Funeral services and interment in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton.
