I'm assuming this is the same Jack Laffey who taught us a lot of great songs on the school bus from Scranton on the way to classes at Keystone Jr. College (now Keystone College). I have a very fond remembrance of Jack, and while glad he had a long life, I'm saddened by news of his passing.

I will always remember the great sense of humor and upbeat attitude that Jack had. I always looked forward to seeing him at the Kennedy Center.

Fathers and husbands hold a very special place in our lives. Their influence continues long after they leave us but the pain of their departure is unique to who the are as a person.
We will miss him too.
