Joseph B. Dippre, Tarpon Springs, Fla., formerly of Lake Ariel, Pa., passed away peacefully July 4, 2022, in Palm Harbor, Fla., surrounded by his loving wife, Deanna M. (Sepelyak), R.N., and beloved sister-in-law, Georgette S. Bershefsky (Sepelyak), R.N.
Born July 17, 1954, they would have celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary on Aug. 21.
He was the son of Regina (Lucas) Dippre, Peckville, Pa., and the late Fred J. Dippre; son-in-law of the late Valeria M. (Justick) and George C. Sepelyak, Moosic, Pa.; he also leaves behind a sister, Mary Ann Lown (Ron), Georgetown, Del.
His treasured family includes sisters-in-law, Michelle L. Nyzio (David), Moosic, Pa., and Georgette S. Bershefsky (John), Factoryville, Pa.; nieces, Jillian Cerutti (Tim), Centerville, Md., Nicolle Nyzio, Media, Pa., Atty. Megan Nakahara (Atty. Mark), Philadelphia, Pa., and Madison Bershefsky, Factoryville, Pa.; nephews, David Nyzio Jr. (Linda), Moosic, Pa., and Matthew Bershefsky, Horsham, Pa.; great-nieces, cousins and extended family.
Mr. Dippre was the former president, CEO of Jomarr Products Inc., Dunmore, Pa.
Joseph moved through life with charm and elegance, characteristically favoring a double-breasted suit and coordinating pocket square during his business years. Charismatic, he was blessed with a quick wit and sense of humor which provided much enjoyment for others.
Joe had a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit and felt his life was a privilege he worked hard to secure and was only too happy to bring everyone along for the ride.
Passionate about all sports, Joe was a lifelong golf enthusiast. He enjoyed politics, theatre, music and especially travel and all the detailed planning it entailed.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis St., Scranton.
Heartbroken, we lost our cherished navigator of life.

I'm very sorry to hear of your Joe's passing away recently, cousin. I know he'll be missed by you as he seemed like a great and loving guy. I am sure many looked up to him, and they will miss him as well. Please also pass on my condolences to his side of family there.

So sorry to hear of Joes passing. We where good friends during high school and always enjoyed running into him and sharing a drink and some laughs! Condolences to his mom and sister and the rest of his family and friends. Rest in Peace Dipper!!
