Joseph Occhipinti Obituary

Joseph T. Occhipinti, 73, of Dunmore, died Wednesday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

Born in Dunmore, son of the late John and Margaret Ross Occhipinti, he was an Air Force veteran, and avid golfer and bowler. Before retirement, he was employed as a truck driver.

Surviving are a daughter, Melissa Seelye, Scranton; a son, Jeffrey Occhipinti, Scranton; three grandchildren, Ethan, Evan and Elijah; a brother, Salvatore Occhipinti, Dunmore; and a sister, Ann Marie Talerico and husband, Thomas, Clarks Summit.

He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Cynthia Occhipinti; and a sister, Millie Occhipinti.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Thomas J. Hughes Funeral Home Inc., 1240 St. Ann's St., Scranton.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
