Joseph Wuagon Obituary
Joe was born to the late George and Veronica Wuagon of Jessup on Jan. 17, 1938. Joe was a proud veteran who served as a sergeant in the National Guard for over 30 years, as well as an extraordinarily gifted craftsman.
He will be remembered by all who knew him for his fearless spirit, razor sharp wit, and, most of all, his heart of gold. Whether it was a neighbor in need of a helping hand or a loved one in need of a good laugh, Joe was always ready and willing to oblige. His infectious smile and generous nature will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
Also surviving are step-daughters: Karen Clark of Scranton and Andrea Warwick and husband, Paul, of Delaware; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by siblings: Veronica Noldy and George Wuagon.
Graveside services will be held at Union Cemetery in Peckville at 11 a.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Dickson City.

It breaks my heart to hear of Joe's passing. I've known Joe for 45 yrs. And you for 40 yrs. I will always remember his sense of humor, his stories and all the help he has given to me and my family. God Bless you and your family

Ruth, Karen and Andrea, I was saddened when I heard that Joe left this life to be in heaven with God. I didn't know him well but have known you for years. I remember my mom telling me what a great person he was and I will never forget the flower box he made for her. She loved it and when she moved she always took it with her because "Joe" made this for me. Mom always talked about how good he was to help people.
Be assured he is in a good place now and may God be with you. Love Sue
