Kelly Drake Obituary
Born in Scranton, daughter of Timothy Burke and the late Christina Phillips Burke, she loved all animals, especially dolphins; she also enjoyed cooking and completing puzzles.
Her laugh was infectious and her smile was unwavering.
Also surviving are three children, Alissa Burke, Caleb and Ethan Drake; two sisters, Amy Jezorwski and husband, Stan; Christina Burke; brother, Timothy Burke and wife, Bridget; grandmother, Bridget Burke, with whom she resided; nieces, Brittany and Kasey Zang; former husband, Matthew Drake; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kelly fought hard everyday through years of trauma and addiction. The family is standing up for addiction awareness and to let anyone struggling know they're not alone.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the Davies & Jones Funeral Chapel, 135 S. Main Ave., Scranton.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m.

Matthew, Alissa, Caleb & Ethan..i am so sorry for your loss. I hope that eventually you will find comfort in the fact that she is no longer struggling..she is at rest..and I know that she loves you all very much. I wish I knew you better. I do know you tried very hard to beat addiction and rise above it. Your family and friends love you deeply and the Lord will keep you safe as you rest in peace.
