Kelly E. McDowell of South Abington Twp. died Tuesday at Leigh Valley Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Kenneth J. McDowell of South Abington Twp. and Kimberly Kelly Bianco of Scranton. Kelly was a graduate of Scranton High School and East Stroudsburg University. She was a member of Church of St. Gregory, Clarks Green.
Also surviving are a sister, Samantha J. Harrison of Scranton; a brother, Ryan Bianco of Scranton; maternal grandfather, C. Martin Kelly of Glenmaura; aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Ann Marie "Nancy" Kelly; paternal grandparents, J. Kenneth and Jane Conaboy McDowell; an aunt, Kristie T. McDowell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Gregory, 330 N. Abington Road, Clarks Green. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. to Mass time. In lieu of flowers. memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Poor, 2300 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
