Lou Ann Becchetti

Lou Ann Becchetti, 84, of Clarks Green, died Wednesday after a long illness. She was the widow of Gary S. Becchetti, who died July 28, 2007.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Arnold and Blanche Powell Leader, she was a graduate of Central High School. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She always had a smile and joke to tell. She was an avid bowler in many leagues. She loved her summers at Lake Sheridan, fishing on the dock and boat rides. She loved to travel with her husband and family.
Surviving are daughter, Cheryl Martinelli and husband, Gery, Scott Twp.; granddaughters, Andrea Martinelli and husband, Erik Eldridge; Allison Martinelli; and Renee Martinelli and fiancé, Michael Depew; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Maddie, Brayden and Owen; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gary S. Becchetti Jr.; brother, Robert Leader; and sister, Arlene Gardner.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton. Interment will follow in Dunmore Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
