She enjoyed working in the garden with her husband, and her favorite pastime was cooking and baking for her family.

She is survived by three sons, Fr. Michael Bryant, of Duryea, Pa.; Gerald Bryant (Virginia), of Vero Beach, Fla.; and Raymond Keck (Theresa), of Perkasie, Pa.; a daughter, Bette Gombar (Douglas), of Perkasie, Pa.; Greg Metarko, of Erin, N.Y., who was like a son to her; six grandchildren, Will, Gregory, Megan, Ryan, Eric and Kelly; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Mitchell (Ruth), Larry Mitchell and Billy Mitchell (Joyce); two sisters, Evelyn Frederick and Rose Bixby (Bud); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Henry, Carl, Francis and Florian Mitchell; and a sister, Ceil Malone.

Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to her life from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro, Pa., and to her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2023, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 38 Central Ave., Wellsboro, Pa. Dear family of Lucy,
I met Lucille many years ago when she worked for
Wellsboro School System. She was such a lovely
kind & friendly person whenever we met which was at church & even at the doctor's office.
I shall miss her warm smile.

I will miss you and loved you very much. Best Godmother I could have asked for and always went out of your way to over feed us every time we came to visit.
