Mary Czubowicz

Mary Czubowicz of Lake Ariel died Wednesday at home. She was the widow of Ben Czubowicz.

Born in Taylor, daughter of the late John and Anna Baraga Sochovka, she attended Taylor public schools. She was a former member of St John the Baptist Church, Taylor, and St. John the Evangelist, Honesdale.

Surviving are three brothers, Andrew Lenns and George Sochovka, both of Scranton; and Thomas J Sochovka and wife, Barbara, Taylor; two sisters, Frances Sochovka, Clarks Summit; and Velma Cuny and husband, Tom, Alexandria, Va.; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, John, Albert and Carl Sochovka; and a sister, Ann Sochovka.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, Main Street, Taylor. Friends may call from 9 until service time. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery.
