Mildred Scott Obituary
Born in Eynon, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Druther Kane. She was a longtime member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Eynon.
She was a wonderful mother and nana. Her passion in life was her family and her joy was feeding them. She was known for her porchetta, ravioli, pierogi and nut roll. She was a woman of great faith and will be dearly missed.
Also surviving are three daughters, Susan Ainsworth and husband, John, Eynon; Mariette Scott Baka, Olyphant; Michelle Scott Passeri, Peckville; six grandchildren, Carly Shayka and husband, Derek, Eynon; Christy Passeri and fiance, Roy, Jessup; Charles Passeri Jr. and companion, Kathleen, Scranton; Chase Passeri, Peckville; Jeffery Baka Jr., Kingston; Molly Hall, Union Dale; five great-grandchildren, Brooke, Ella, Charlee, Lila and Jameson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Steve, Joseph, George and Frank; eight sisters, Helen, Florence, Kay, Rose, Marian, Loretta, Pat and Delores.
The funeral will be Tuesday with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill. There will be no calling hours.

So sorry for you all, Uncle Aca, Susan, Mariette, Michelle. At this times of sorrow we put aside our differences to allow our family know that we are thinking of them. She will be missed but she is with loved ones as they ushered her into God's country and will be there to greet you as each of you leave this earth someday.

I met Asa & Cookie through the Knights of Columbus. Asa & I were Grand Knights or Faithful Navigators at the same time for different KofC units. We 4 had dinner together at a KofC Installation Dinner.
Asa & I enjoyed talking about our same last names.
