Paula Jones Obituary
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of John and Inez Perrotti Lewis. A graduate of North Pocono High School and earning her bachelor's degree from Kaplan University, she was most recently employed as a real estate agent.
Paula was a ski instructor at Montage Ski Resort as well as an extreme skier. She regularly competed in marathons and triathlons with her sister and a wide group of fantastic friends. She was currently in training for her first Ironman.
She was a devoted mother who adored her daughter, Kayla. She enjoyed singing and listening to music, and was a true lover of animals. She was a lovely person with a magnetic personality and vigor for life that was unmatched. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kayla; sister, Jessica Holzman, Portland Ore.; brother in-law, Robert Holzman, Portland; maternal grandmother, Arlene Perotti, Scranton; mother-in-law and father-law, Harold and Andrea Jones. She also has a large extended family full of cousins, aunts and uncles, with whom she was very close.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marion Lewis; and grandfather, Anthony Perrotti Sr., both of Gouldsboro, Pa.
The funeral will be conducted Friday from the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St., Scranton. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Everyone attending the Mass is asked to proceed directly to church.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.

This women I had the pleasure of briefly meeting at the YMCA.we spoke frequently and she had a smile that was contagious! My eyes I thought deceived me when I saw the news just spoke to her on Friday.My heart goes out to her daughter who she spoke of often and her husband what a tragic loss she was such a sweet inspiring young woman!sorry so sorry for your loss

paula, I never met you but like you I am a runner at Harveys Lake, and have been training for my races like you, along with my daughter there. To the Jones family, I only talked to Paula on facebook but she had words of wisdom for a lady like me and we shared alot of moments about her loving husband Brain when he was a teen. I did not know Paula personally, but, I am a Mother of a triathlon athlete. I understand the training and love for this grueling sport. Know that Paula's family is in the prayers of all Triathlon athletes, as is Paula. RIP and swim/bike/run with the Angels.
