Renee A. Beamer, 30, of Dickson City, passed away Monday from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Dylon Beamer.
Born Sept. 17, 1993, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Craig and Peggy Vincent and a member of First Primitive Methodist Church, where her husband Dylon Beamer is pastor. Renee received a Bachelor of Science and master's in counseling from Cairn University. She was a patient and dedicated homeschool mother; she also provided digital wellness counseling.
Renee used to do volunteer work with The City Mission in Cleveland, Ohio. Later, she was a head counselor at Streamside Camp in Tannersville. She loved working with horses and using horses to help troubled people. She spent years taking care of her own horse, Watercolor. She enjoyed reading and writing, and published both a non-fiction book and a blog. She was a wise and compassionate listener who could tell someone they were wrong while still making them feel loved.
In addition to her husband Dylon, surviving are three young sons, Roland, Ogden and Lincoln; her parents, Craig and Peggy Vincent; her older brother, Randy Vincent and his wife Karena; her younger sisters, Reyna and Robyn Vincent; and many nieces, nephews, grandparents and cousins.
The funeral will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at First Primitive Methodist Church, 516 Jackson St., Dickson City. Friends and family may call Sunday, 5 to 8 p.m. at Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, and on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Anyone attending her funeral service should go directly to the church on Monday morning. Interment, St. Anthony's Cemetery, Dickson City.
